Get up close with the vibrant blue hues of a blue shark or witness the impressive size of a porbeagle. You’ll help collect important data and even take part in tagging and naming the shark! Your catch contributes to real marine research, with data sent to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans to support studies on shark populations and climate change. With a 90% catch rate, you’re almost guaranteed a close encounter with these incredible ocean predators.

Cod Fishing
Experience a piece of Newfoundland tradition by cod fishing, where you’ll take part in one of the province’s most iconic and culturally significant activities. Whether you're experienced or a first timer, you'll enjoy the excitement of hauling in your own cod while learning about the fishery's deep roots in our coastal heritage. Guests are allowed to keep as many cod as regulations allow.

Ice bergs
Depending on the time of year, you may have the chance to see icebergs during your tour. These massive ice formations drift down from Greenland and are most commonly seen between May and early July. Seeing an iceberg up close is a unique and memorable part of the Newfoundland experience.
